The human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman has expressed total support for the popular uprising in Iraq and the Iraqis’ rights to an independent Iraq.

In a statement on Facebook, Mrs. Karman wrote saying: “I align myself with the loved Iraq in its struggle and existing uprising for an independent, fully sovereign, democratic, civil and free Iraq.”
