During the meeting, they discussed the role that Italy could play in bringing peace to Yemen.
Tawakkol Karman expressed her thanks for Italy's support for the Libyan government, its positive attitude supporting Yemeni legitimacy and its sponsorship of the Mediterranean Dialogue Conference.
