Tawakkol Karman Foundation launches an aid campaign for kidney, leprosy, and cancer patients in Taiz
On Sunday, the Tawakkol Karman Foundation for Humanitarian Work launched a campaign to distribute humanitarian aid to kidney failure patients, leprosy patients, and cancer patients in the city of Taiz.
The Foundation said, “Humanitarian aid targets 1,141 people with chronic diseases and aims to support these segments of society in view of the deteriorating living conditions left by the war.”
The Foundation indicated that the aid campaign, valued at 44 million Yemeni riyals, comes within the projects of the Tawakkol Karman Foundation for Humanitarian Works and within the framework of alleviating the suffering of citizens, especially in such circumstances and the spread of epidemics and diseases that require everyone to confront them.
