The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, today participated in a global civil society symposium hosted by the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs.
In the meanwhile, Tawakkol Karman delivered a speech and called on the international community to stop the brutal war in Yemen and support the Yemeni people to restore their state, complete the transitional phase according to basic references, impose restrictions on warlords and militia leaders, and not deal with them as political parties.
She noted that the failure and inability of the global order to activate its collective mechanisms as a way to stop the war and economic collapse have contributed to the prolongation of war and chaos, thus worsening the humanitarian crisis.
