Yemen’s Nobel Laureate Tawakkol Karman has urged to struggle for restoration of the Yemeni state taken over by a militia alliance consisting of the Iran-backed Houthi group and ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh
whose loyal forces played a crucial role in toppling the internationally recognized authority represented by the Saudi-backed exiled President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi.
Mrs. Karman has highlighted the importance of the peaceful struggle for human rights and freedoms that represent the solid ground of the underlying pillars of democracy and civilized society, indicating that fighting for restoring the Yemeni state is the greatest-ever struggle as in the absence of state, there are no room for human rights and freedoms.
