A deadly airstrike by the Saudi-led military fighting in Yemen has targeted a residential house and a group of paramedics, leaving at least four civilians, including women and children, dead and five other wounded in Nihm district northeast of the capital Sana'a. 

Nobel Peace Prize laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman has denounced the incident as a massacre against civilians, holding the military coalition led by the UAE and Saudi Arabia accountable for consequences and calling for a transparent and serious investigation into all massacres committed against civilians.

According to local sources, the airstrike was carried out early on Thursday afternoon.

Mrs. Karman, in a statement on social media, stated that what happened in Bani Ghaleb directorate to the northwest of Sana'a is a new massacre added to a long series of crimes against humanity committed intentionally and with premeditation by Saudi-led coalition fighters. 

"I condemn this massacre and all the massacres committed against civilians in Yemen, and reiterate my call for a transparent, serious and independent investigation that guarantees justice for the victims and ensures that the perpetrators don’t escape punishment," Karman concluded.
