The Nobel Peace Prize laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman released a congratulatory statement to Pakistan’s new Prime Minister Imran Khan, hoping Imran will lead his country to real advancements.

“I have a trust in such leader like him to lead his nation to the real advancements and fulfill his nation dreams and expectations”, Mrs. Karman wrote on social media. 

She added that a man who led his national team and got the world cup will also be able to lead his country to be more stable and developed. 

"Congratulations to the man who led the Pakistan’s spring revolution and reach to the prime minister!," Karman told Imran Khan, extending congratulations of Yemeni people to to its Pakistani counterpart.
