The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, congratulated women around the world on International Women’s Day that is celebrated on 8 March each year.

 “I pay tribute to women on their International Women’s Day. I pay tribute to them as they struggle for healthy and equal societies where equal rights and opportunities are granted,” wrote Tawakkol Karman on her official Facebook page.
