Nobel laureate Tawakkol Karman condemns Israeli airstrike in Yemen's Hodeidah
Nobel Peace Prize laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman has strongly condemned what she described as a terrorist attack by the "rogue state" of Israel on the people of Hodeidah governorate in Yemen.
In her statement, Karman said, "I condemn the attack by the rogue terrorist Israel on our people in Hodeidah governorate. This rogue state has become a grave threat to international peace and security."
According to sources, an American official reported that Israeli planes carried out an airstrike in Yemen in retaliation for a Houthi drone attack on Tel Aviv.
Houthi sources confirmed that Hodeidah governorate was subjected to an "Israeli aggression" on the main port, causing a large fire.
