First of all, I would like to welcome you to this important symposium organized by Tawakkol Karman Foundation, and I really thank you for your presence. It seems that we are all aware of the importance of the refugees issue, and of the suffering of millions of people around the world,

Ladies and gentlemen, At the beginning, I would like to say that I am very delighted to be in Pakistan again, and I would like to express my thanks to the University of Punjab for inviting me, to the university’s president and faculty members, to students and to you all.

Ladies and gentlemen, Let me begin by expressing my happiness to be with you here in Mexico, a country that has a great history and shows great determination to move towards the future with confidence. 

Please let me, first of all, express my deep gratitude and happiness for being with you. I have been very keen to participate in this conference. Despite the fact that the conference highlights an issue everyone is interested in, no one could stop its serious repercussions on society.

To the great Yemeni people who keep to be stable and patient despite all the pain, suffering and tragedies caused by the ongoing war, and to free Yemenis everywhere,  I salute you with greetings of freedom, dignity, revolution, citizenship and justice.
